A Planned Impact Fund

Philanthropy can do more than give grants. With LOHAS, we are planning a fund that puts capital to work in pollinator-positive ventures.

The idea

Many businesses help pollinators: native seed and plant growers, regenerative farms, agrivoltaic solar, beekeeping and honey, nurseries and habitat restoration. They often need patient capital to grow.

LOHAS helps donor-advised funds and foundations invest charitable capital in impact companies and funds. Working with them, we are planning an impact fund focused on businesses that protect pollinators and the plants they depend on. Returns could be recycled into more grants.

Areas we may explore

  • Native seed, nursery and habitat companies
  • Regenerative and pollinator-friendly agriculture
  • Agrivoltaics and land-friendly clean energy
  • Beekeeping, honey and pollination services
  • Monitoring, data and other pollinator technology
Important. The impact fund is in planning. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or interest in any fund. Any future offering would be made only through official offering documents, to eligible investors, as permitted by law.
