About the Foundation
Pollinators feed the world. About one in three bites of our food depends on them, and so do the wildflowers and forests around us.
Why a foundation?
Our pollinator and peace projects stretch from Kansas City to Mexico and Canada. Pollinators Foundation gives them one trusted place to receive gifts, so donors can support any of them, or all of them, in one step.
Our founder
Pollinators Foundation was founded by Steve Bender, a longtime environmental and community leader, and grew out of Pollinators Without Borders.

Managed with LOHAS
LOHAS is an impact philanthropy platform with partners in Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and San Francisco. It helps donors, foundations and nonprofits put charitable dollars to work, through donor-advised funds, grantmaking into impact ventures and a fiscal sponsor program.
LOHAS manages Pollinators Foundation’s fund and administration, so our team can focus on the field.
Our sister foundation, 7 Seas Foundation, does the same for oceans and water. Both are managed with LOHAS.
